Our mobile apps are available on both iOS and Android for users who prefer learning on the go.
Arabic is our primary language for Quranic text. Translations, definitions, and interface text are currently available in:
We are actively working to add more languages. If your language is not listed, you can vote for it in the Community section.
Not at all. Qurantology is designed to welcome complete beginners. Our AI-powered system adapts to your current level — whether you know zero Arabic or are already intermediate — and builds a personalized learning path from there.
We recommend starting with the "Beginner Vocabulary" module which introduces the 100 most frequently occurring Quranic words, covering over 40% of all Quranic text.
Yes. Qurantology is available as a native app on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The app includes all core learning features, offline mode for downloaded vocabulary sets, push notification reminders, and dark mode.
Most learners report noticeable vocabulary improvement within 2–3 weeks of consistent daily practice (15–20 minutes per day). Our spaced repetition system is scientifically designed to maximize long-term retention with minimal daily time investment.
Your Progress Dashboard tracks retention rates, study streaks, and vocabulary milestones so you can see growth clearly over time.
Absolutely. We offer an Institution Plan for schools, madrasas, Islamic centers, and universities. It includes bulk user management, class progress dashboards, custom vocabulary sets, and a dedicated account manager.
Contact us at partnerships@qurantology.com for institutional pricing and a free demo.
Our AI system uses a combination of spaced repetition scheduling, contextual embedding analysis, and adaptive difficulty adjustment to personalize your learning path. It tracks which words you know well, which you're likely to forget, and surfaces them at optimal intervals.
The model is trained on classical Arabic morphology, Quranic root systems, and semantic patterns across the entire Quran, achieving 98.7% accuracy in vocabulary classification and contextual usage suggestions.
Our 50,847+ vocabulary terms are organized into six thematic domains that reflect the breadth of Quranic knowledge:
Yes, our mobile app supports offline mode. You can download vocabulary sets, flashcard decks, and the Quran Reader for offline access. Your progress syncs automatically the next time you connect to the internet.
Offline mode is available to all users including free tier. However, AI-powered features such as contextual suggestions and real-time accuracy feedback require an internet connection.
The Quran Reader is an interactive reading interface where every word is clickable. Tapping or hovering any word reveals its root, morphological analysis, frequency in the Quran, and contextual definition — all drawn from our 50,847+ term database.
You can bookmark verses, add personal notes, enable audio recitation from multiple reciters, and add any word directly to your active vocabulary study deck.
Our AI achieves 98.7% accuracy across the vocabulary database, validated against classical Arabic lexicons including Lisan al-Arab, Al-Mufradat fi Gharib al-Quran (Raghib al-Isfahani), and Hans Wehr's Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic.
All AI-generated definitions are reviewed by our team of Islamic scholars and Arabic linguists before being published. If you ever spot an inaccuracy, you can flag it directly using the "Report" button on any term card.
Yes. Scholar Plan subscribers can create unlimited custom vocabulary lists by adding words from any Surah, search result, or domain category. These lists become personalized flashcard decks with AI-powered scheduling.
Free users can create up to 3 custom lists with a maximum of 50 words each.
Currently, Qurantology focuses specifically on vocabulary acquisition rather than grammar instruction. However, each word entry includes its grammatical classification (noun, verb, particle), root letters, and morphological pattern to support grammar understanding in context.
A dedicated Grammar module is on our roadmap for Q3 2025. You can follow progress and vote for features in the Community section.
Your study streak tracks how many consecutive days you've completed at least one study session. Streaks motivate consistent learning and unlock bonus points redeemable for competition entries and profile badges.
You can set a daily study goal (5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes) and receive push notification reminders at a time of your choosing. Streak Freeze tokens allow you to protect your streak on days you can't study.
The Islamic Library is a curated digital collection of classical and contemporary Islamic texts, tafsir (Quranic exegesis), hadith references, and scholarly commentaries. It is integrated with the vocabulary system so you can encounter terms in their authentic scholarly context.
Yes. Our Family Plan (available via Institution pricing) allows parents to create linked child accounts with parental oversight. You can view your child's progress dashboard, set daily time limits, restrict competition access, and receive weekly progress reports by email.
Navigate to the Competition page and browse upcoming events. Each competition shows the prize pool, eligibility requirements, entry fee (if any), and start date. Click "Register" on any open competition to join.
Some competitions are free to enter, while others require a paid Scholar subscription or a small entry token. All competition rules and scoring criteria are clearly published before registration closes.
Qurantology has distributed over $150,000 in prize money across all competitions to date. Individual competitions range from smaller weekly challenges ($500–$2,000 prize pools) to major annual championships (up to $25,000).
Prizes are paid out via bank transfer, PayPal, or cryptocurrency (USDT/BTC), depending on your country of residence and preference.
Scores are calculated based on three factors: correctness (70%), response speed (20%), and consistency across rounds (10%). Each competition may have slightly different weighting — always check the competition's specific rules page.
Our anti-cheat AI monitors response patterns in real time and flags suspicious activity such as abnormally fast answers, bot-like timing patterns, or coordinated multi-device play.
Yes. If you believe your score was calculated incorrectly or you experienced a technical issue during a competition, you can file a dispute within 72 hours of the competition ending. Email competitions@qurantology.com with your username, competition name, and a description of the issue.
Our competition team reviews all disputes within 5 business days. Results may be adjusted if a technical fault is confirmed.
Prize competitions with cash rewards require participants to be 18 or older, or have documented parental consent if aged 13–17. Non-prize learning challenges and academic competitions are open to all age groups.
We offer a dedicated Youth Division for users under 18, with age-appropriate competitions and non-cash prizes such as certificates, books, and platform credits.
Prize winners are notified by email within 48 hours of a competition closing. You have 60 days from the notification date to claim your prize by completing identity verification and providing payment details.
Unclaimed prizes after 60 days are forfeited and returned to the general prize pool. If you have difficulty claiming your prize, contact us as soon as possible — we will try to accommodate reasonable circumstances.
If our system detects a violation — such as using bots, external assistance, or multiple accounts — you will be disqualified from the current competition and notified by email with the specific reason.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension and forfeiture of all accumulated prizes. You can appeal a disqualification within 14 days by emailing competitions@qurantology.com.
Some beginner-level competitions are open to free users. Most prize competitions require an active Scholar subscription, which also gives you access to all AI learning tools that can help you prepare more effectively.
Each competition page lists the vocabulary domains and difficulty level that will be tested. We recommend using the AI-powered Practice Mode, which simulates competition conditions including timed rounds and scoring feedback.
You can also join the Community forum where experienced competitors share study strategies, recommended vocabulary sets, and past competition insights.

Qurantology works on all modern browsers. We fully support Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, and Edge 90+. Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best performance and Arabic text rendering, we recommend Chrome or Safari.
Arabic rendering issues are usually caused by outdated browsers or missing fonts. Try updating your browser to the latest version. On mobile, ensure your device OS is up to date as Arabic font support improved significantly in recent OS versions.
If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or switching to Chrome. Contact support if the problem remains after these steps.
Try these steps in order: (1) Clear your browser cache and cookies. (2) Disable browser extensions that might interfere. (3) Try a different browser or device. (4) Check your internet connection speed.
If you're on a slower connection, you can enable "Low Bandwidth Mode" in Settings → Accessibility which reduces image loading and disables non-essential animations.
Yes. We offer a Quranic Vocabulary API for researchers, educational developers, and institutions. The API provides access to our vocabulary database, word frequency data, root analysis, and contextual definitions.
API access requires a Commercial Use Agreement. Contact partnerships@qurantology.com for documentation, pricing, and access credentials.
