Terms That Protect Our Community

By accessing or using Qurantology in any way, you agree to these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, competition participants, and subscribers. Your continued use of the platform following any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are supplemented by additional policies that are incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Competition Rules. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any supplementary policy, these Terms shall prevail unless otherwise stated.

Qurantology is available to users worldwide. To register an account and access all platform features, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 17 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information including a valid email address.
• You must not have had a previous account terminated for violations of these Terms or community guidelines.
• To participate in prize competitions, you must be at least 18 years of age, or have explicit parental consent if between 13–17 and applicable laws permit it.
• You must not reside in a jurisdiction where accessing or using Qurantology or receiving prize money would violate applicable law.

We reserve the right to verify eligibility at any time and to refuse, suspend, or terminate access to users who do not meet these requirements.

When you register an account, you take on specific responsibilities for its security and use. You are fully accountable for all activity that occurs under your account credentials.

• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and do not share account access with any other person.
• Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where possible.
• Notify us immediately at security@qurantology.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Keep your profile information accurate and up to date, particularly your email address which is used for critical notifications.
• Register only one personal account. Multiple accounts per person are not permitted and may result in suspension of all associated accounts.

Qurantology grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial Quranic learning and educational purposes.

Certain features of Qurantology require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following billing terms.

• All prices are listed in USD and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal.
• To cancel auto-renewal, go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan before the renewal date.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase or renewal if you have not consumed significant platform usage (defined as fewer than 20 study sessions).
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice via email. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

Qurantology hosts Quranic vocabulary competitions with prize pools exceeding $150,000. Participation in any competition constitutes your agreement to these specific terms, in addition to the General Terms.

• Each competition has specific eligibility requirements, entry rules, and prize structures published on the competition page. These supplement these Terms.
• All competition entries must reflect your own genuine knowledge and effort. Use of AI tools, external assistance, or any form of collaboration during timed rounds is strictly prohibited.
• Qurantology uses AI-powered fraud detection to identify suspicious patterns including abnormal answer speeds, score manipulation, and coordinated multi-account activity.
• Winners will be contacted via their registered email. Prizes must be claimed within 60 days. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited and returned to the prize pool.
• Qurantology staff and immediate family members are not eligible to participate in prize competitions.
• Prize winners may be required to provide identity verification and tax documentation before prize disbursement, in compliance with applicable financial regulations.

All content, features, and functionality on Qurantology — including but not limited to the vocabulary database, AI learning algorithms, UI design, illustrations, logos, text, and compiled Quranic datasets — are the exclusive intellectual property of Qurantology Technologies or its licensors.

The Quranic text itself is in the public domain. However, our translations, annotations, tagging systems, vocabulary definitions, and AI-generated explanations are original works protected by copyright. The way we have organized, presented, and enriched Quranic content represents significant creative and technical investment.

• You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from Qurantology content without explicit written permission.
• The "Qurantology" name, logo, and associated trademarks may not be used without prior written authorization.
• Educational and non-commercial citations with proper attribution to Qurantology are permitted within fair use guidelines.
• API access for research or integration purposes requires a separate Commercial Use Agreement. Contact us at partnerships@qurantology.com.

Qurantology may allow users to submit content including forum posts, comments, feedback, study notes, or community contributions ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Qurantology a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and improving our platform.

• You retain full ownership of your User Content. We will not sell your content to third parties.
• User Content must not contain offensive, misleading, defamatory, or religiously disrespectful material. Content that misrepresents Quranic meanings will be removed.
• You represent that you have the right to submit any content you post and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• We reserve the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or community guidelines at our sole discretion.

Qurantology provides its platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and the highest quality AI accuracy (currently 98.7%), we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the platform at all times.
• The absolute accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular scholarly purpose of any vocabulary definitions, translations, or AI-generated explanations.
• The results or outcomes you will achieve through using our learning tools. Learning outcomes depend on individual effort and engagement.
• The availability or conduct of any third-party services linked from or integrated into the platform.

Quranic translations and scholarly interpretations on our platform represent one understanding and should not be taken as the sole authoritative interpretation. We encourage users to consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious rulings and guidance.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qurantology, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

In no event shall Qurantology's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the platform exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Qurantology in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $50.00.

Either you or Qurantology may terminate your account and access to the platform at any time. The process and consequences differ depending on who initiates termination.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. For voluntary account deletion, you may request an export of your learning data within 30 days prior to deletion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including IP rights, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

We genuinely hope to resolve any concerns through direct communication. If you have a dispute with us, please follow this escalation path before taking formal legal action:

1. 1 Informal Resolution: Email us at support@qurantology.com with a detailed description of your concern. We will respond within 10 business days and make a genuine effort to resolve the matter.
2. 2 Mediation: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed neutral mediator before initiating arbitration or litigation.
3. 3 Binding Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be finally settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the Pakistan Centre for Dispute Resolution (PCDR), conducted in Islamabad, Pakistan, in the English language.
4. 4 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Users in the EU or UK retain the right to bring claims before courts in their country of residence for consumer protection matters.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, business practices, or applicable law. We are committed to notifying you of meaningful changes.

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when the Terms were most recently changed.
• For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will send an email notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
• We will display a prominent in-platform banner for significant changes so you are aware before your next session.
• A version history of previous Terms is maintained and available upon request at legal@qurantology.com.

Your continued use of the platform after any updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may delete your account before they come into effect.
